Leader s Oliver Baskets delivered the eleventh victory. This time they crushed 12th ranked Finke Baskets (5-8) 89-62 in Wuerzburg. s Oliver Baskets dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Finke Baskets' 28. s Oliver Baskets players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Darren Fenn (208-80, college: Canisius, agency: LUMANI 10.7) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. His fellow American import swingman Jason Dourisseau (196-83, college: Nebraska) contributed with 21 points for the winners. s Oliver Baskets' coach Douglas Spradley felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Paul Albrecht (205-93) answered with 19 points and Canadian point guard Ty Nurse (185-90, college: Texas Tech) added 12 points and 5 assists in the effort for Finke Baskets. Five s Oliver Baskets and four Finke Baskets players scored in double figures. s Oliver Baskets maintains first place with 11-2 record. Finke Baskets lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with eight games lost. They share it with Baunach. s Oliver Baskets will play against Kirchheim Knights (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Finke Baskets will play against the league's second-placed ETB Wohnbau and hope to get back on the winning track.
