Universidad de Concepcion led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Universidad de Concepcion outrebounded Las Animas 50-29 including a 15-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of American center Terrell Taylor (203-81, college: Virginia Tech) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 15 rebounds and the former international guard Eduardo Marechal (186-85) who added 21 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest.
