Regular Season Round 15: AZS UMCS - LKS Lodz 81-69

Everything went according to plan in Lublin where fourth ranked AZS UMCS (8-4) won against 6th ranked LKS Lodz (4-7) 81-69 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by AZS UMCS. LKS Lodz was better in fourth quarter 21-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was forward Adam Mysliwiec (200-90) who scored 23 points and 8 rebounds. Power forward Mateusz Wisniewski (202-91) chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Aleksander Lenczuk (193-93) who recorded 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and center Damian Nowak (198-95) added 8 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. AZS UMCS moved-up to third place in Group B, which they share with Ksiezak Lowicz. LKS Lodz at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the seventh position with seven games lost. AZS UMCS will face Piaseczno (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. LKS Lodz will play against Gimbasket Wroclaw and hope to win that game.
