No shocking result in a game when third ranked Armani Milano (9-2) beat 11th ranked Acea (4-7) in Roma 79-68. It looked good early as Acea took an 3-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Armani Milano had a 18-14 second period charge getting the lead and Acea was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 68-79. The best player for the winners was American swingman MarShon Brooks (196-89, college: Providence) who scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. American-Liberian point guard Joe Ragland (182-89, college: Wichita St.) chipped in 9 points and 7 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Armani Milano's coach Luca Banchi used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest.
