There was a minor upset in Capo d'Orlando where higher ranked Cimberio Varese (5-8) was defeated by fourteenth ranked Upea CdO (5-8) 84-71 on Monday. The game was mostly controlled by Upea CdO. Cimberio Varese was better in fourth quarter 31-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Upea CdO made 17-of-18 free shots (94.4 percent) during the game. Upea CdO outrebounded Cimberio Varese 39-25 including a 33-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage.
