Regular Season Round 14: Slask Wroclaw - AZS Koszalin 73-66

Very important is a road loss of third ranked AZS Koszalin (10-3) against fourth ranked Slask (11-3) on Sunday night. Visiting AZS Koszalin was defeated by Slask in a tough game in Wroclaw 66-73. It was a key game for the second position in the league. AZS Koszalin was ahead by 3 points at the halftime before a 37-27 second half run of Slask. They also forced 22 AZS Koszalin turnovers. American Roderick Trice (185-84, college: S.Carolina) notched 16 points, 5 assists and 4 steals to lead the effort and international swingman Jakub Dloniak (194-83, agency: Promotex) supported him with 16 points. Even 18 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals by American point guard Dante Swanson (178-81, college: Tulsa) did not help to save the game for AZS Koszalin. Slask moved-up to second place, which they share with Stelmet ZG. AZS Koszalin at the other side dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. Slask will play against Asseco (#8) in Gdynia in the next round where they are favorite. AZS Koszalin will play at home against Anwil (#9) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
