No shocking result in a game when first ranked Armani Milano (12-2) beat at home 5th ranked Enel Brindisi (9-5) 77-68 on Monday. The hosts trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 77-68. International swingman Alessandro Gentile (200-92) orchestrated the victory by scoring 11 points and 8 assists. Jamaican power forward Samardo Samuels (206-89, college: Louisville) contributed with 21 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Central African-American power forward James Mays (206-86, college: Clemson) replied with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds and American-Georgian point guard Jacob Pullen (185-89, college: Kansas St.) added 15 points and 4 assists in the effort for Enel Brindisi. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Armani Milano have an impressive nine-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 12-2 record.
