We should mention about the upset which took place in Ramat Gan, where higher ranked Ironi Ramat Gan (7-5) lost at home to ninth ranked Elitzur Yavne (6-6) 66-77 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by Elitzur Yavne. Ironi Ramat Gan was better in third quarter 18-10. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Ironi Ramat Gan 45-33 including 17 on the offensive glass. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Elitzur Yavne made 7 blocks.
