Regular Season Round 15: Stabill Jezioro - Rosa Radom 69-85

Very expected game in Tarnobrzeg where 15th ranked Stabill Jezioro (3-12) was defeated by fifth ranked Rosa (10-5) 85-69. It looked good early as Stabill Jezioro took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Rosa had a 21-19 second period charge getting the lead and Stabill Jezioro was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 69-85. Rosa dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Stabill Jezioro's 20. It was an exceptional evening for American center John Turek (205-83, college: Nebraska) who led the winners and scored 19 points and 5 rebounds. His fellow American import point guard Danny Gibson (177-84, college: S.Indiana) accounted for 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Four Rosa players scored in double figures. Rosa's coach Wojciech Kaminski allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American Dominique Johnson (193-87, college: Azusa Pacific, agency: Higher Vision Sports) came up with 18 points and 8 assists and U.S. Virgin Islands center Craig Williams (206-89, college: TCU, agency: SDJ Sports) added 17 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Stabill Jezioro in the defeat. Rosa maintains fifth place with 10-5 record. Stabill Jezioro lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the fifteenth position with 12 games lost. Rosa's next round opponent will be AZS Polfarmex (#10) in Kutno which should be theoretically an easy game. Stabill Jezioro will play at home against Polpharma (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
