Very predictable result when second ranked AZS UMK Torun (12-3) smashed on the road bottom-ranked KUKS Koszalin (0-15) 100-48 on Sunday. The game without a history. AZS UMK Torun led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to KUKS Koszalin's 30. AZS UMK Torun forced 22 KUKS Koszalin turnovers and had a 32-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by KUKS Koszalin's players. The former international center Dawid Przybyszewski (215-81, college: Vanderbilt) had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Daniel Jasnowski (194-92) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Radoslaw Lapczuk (192-96) with 10 points and 8 rebounds and guard Michal Dudek (182-88) scored 7 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. AZS UMK Torun maintains second position with 12-3 record having just three points less than leader Notec. Newly promoted KUKS Koszalin still closes the standings with 15 games lost. AZS UMK Torun will face league's leader Notec in Inowroclaw in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. KUKS Koszalin will play at home against Basket Pila (#8) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
