Regular Season Round 14: Elitzur Ramla - Maccabi Ashdod 65-73

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Ramla. Top-ranked Maccabi Ashdod faced second-ranked Elitzur Ramla. Guests from Ashdod (14-0) defeated host Elitzur Ramla (10-4) 73-65. American Danielle McCray (186-87, college: Kansas) replied with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international guard Naama Shafir (170-90, college: Toledo) added 10 points and 8 assists in the effort for Elitzur Ramla. Four Elitzur Ramla players scored in double figures. Maccabi Ashdod have an impressive 14-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 14-0 record. Elitzur Ramla at the other side keeps the second place with four games lost. Maccabi Ashdod will play against bottom-ranked Elitzur Netanya (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Elitzur Ramla will play against Hap.Petah Tikva (#8) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
