Leader Bakken delivered the sixteenth victory on Thursday night. This time they crushed 6th ranked Randers (8-11) 111-87. The game was mostly controlled by Bakken. Randers was better in third quarter 32-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. Bakken outrebounded Randers 45-33 including a 33-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American point guard Maurice Acker (176-87, college: Marquette) fired 28 points and 8 assists for the winners. Bakken's coach Ville Tuominen felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. American power forward Bonell Colas (205-82, college: Florida) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Casper Jorgensen (201-92) added 18 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side. Defending champion maintains first place with 16-2 record. Randers lost seventh consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh position with 11 games lost. Bakken will face Svendborg (#4) at home in the next round. Randers will play against Horsholm and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
