Regular Season Round 22: Gimbasket Przemysl - AZS UMCS 86-69

An interesting game for Gimbasket Przemysl (16-2) which hosted in Przemysl 4th ranked AZS UMCS (12-6). Second ranked Gimbasket Przemysl had an easy win 86-69. The game without a history. Gimbasket Przemysl led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to AZS UMCS's 32. Gimbasket Przemysl forced 20 AZS UMCS turnovers. It was a very good performance for Grzegorz Plocica (190-80) who helped to win the game recording 31 points and 6 steals. Artur Mikolajko (197-79) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Gimbasket Przemysl players scored in double figures. Forward Przemyslaw Luszczewski (195-80, agency: Promotex) replied with 15 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) and power forward Mateusz Wisniewski (202-91) added 12 points in the effort for AZS UMCS. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Gimbasket Przemysl have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They keep a position of Group B leader, which they share with AZS AGH Alstom. AZS UMCS at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fourth place with six games lost.
