Finals Game 5: CD Castro - Colo Colo 70-84

Colo Colo are the new Liga Nacional champions. They overcame CD Castro in the decisive fifth game of the championship series to conquer the title. The game was mostly controlled by Colo Colo. CD Castro managed to win fourth quarter 30-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded CD Castro 41-22 including a 25-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. American swingman O'Louis McCullough (198-82, college: Francis Marion) orchestrated the victory by scoring 27 points and 5 rebounds. The former international center Jorge Valencia (206-77) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. The former international point guard Gonzalo Velasquez (185-81) answered with 28 points and American forward Terrance Thomas (198-80, college: Baylor, agency: Interperformances) added 14 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for CD Castro.
