The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 19-12. But Elitzur Ramla won second period 20-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American Danielle McCray (186-87, college: Kansas) answered with 18 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import swingman Alex Montgomery (185-88, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Josep and Nicolas) added 11 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Elitzur Ramla. Five Maccabi Ashdod and four Elitzur Ramla players scored in double figures. Maccabi Ashdod's next round opponent will be Maccabi Ramat Hen (#3) on the road, which may be the game of the day. Elitzur Ramla will play against Ramat Hasharon and hope to win that game.
