The game between Top Four teams took place in Ashdod. host Maccabi Ashdod (20-0) defeated Elitzur Ramla (15-5) 75-69. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 19-12. But Elitzur Ramla won second period 20-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Tiffany Jackson (191-85, college: Texas) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists. Naturalized American forward Alysha Clark (178-87, college: Middle Tenn.St.) contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American Danielle McCray (186-87, college: Kansas) answered with 18 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import swingman Alex Montgomery (185-88, college: Georgia Tech, agency: Josep and Nicolas) added 11 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Elitzur Ramla. Five Maccabi Ashdod and four Elitzur Ramla players scored in double figures. Maccabi Ashdod's next round opponent will be Maccabi Ramat Hen (#3) on the road, which may be the game of the day. Elitzur Ramla will play against Ramat Hasharon and hope to win that game.
