Regular Season Round 25: Randers - SISU 87-86

Important game to mention about took place in Randers. Sixth ranked Randers (12-13) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 7th ranked SISU (9-16) 87-86 on Thursday evening. It looked good early as SISU took a 1-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Randers had a 18-16 second period charge getting the lead and SISU was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 86-87. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Bonell Colas (205-82, college: Florida) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points, 20 rebounds and 4 blocks. The former international swingman Chris Nielsen (192-85) contributed with 25 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four Randers players scored in double figures. American guard Darryl Partin (198-87, college: Boston U.) answered with 32 points and international forward Frederik Rungby (199-93) added 16 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for SISU. Randers moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Naestved. SISU lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 16 games lost. They share it with Horsholm. Randers will play against Naestved (#5) at home in the next round. SISU will play against Aalborg and hopes to get back on the winning track.
