Rieker Komarno thrashed visiting Banska Bystrica to sweep the quarterfinal series. Rieker KN dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to SKP Banska Bystrica's 42. Rieker KN players were unselfish on offense dishing 36 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by SKP Banska Bystrica's players. It was a good game for Serbian point guard Luka Igrutinovic (193-92) who led his team to a victory with 24 points and 9 assists. American-Liberian point guard Jaytornah Wisseh (185-88, college: LIU Brooklyn) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 7 rebounds and 17 assists for the winners. The former international guard Milan Ziak (190-88) answered with 26 points and 6 assists and Latvian forward Martins Berkis (198-85) added 15 points in the effort for SKP Banska Bystrica. Five Rieker KN and four SKP Banska Bystrica players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
