Maccabi Ashdod got to a confident start of D1 Finals. They rolled past Elitzur Ramla in the opener. Maccabi Ashdod dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Elitzur Ramla's 32. Maccabi Ashdod forced 20 Elitzur Ramla turnovers.
