Regular Season Round 25: Ironi K-A - Maccabi H/H 64-61

Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked Hasharon (11-15) was edged on the road by first ranked Ironi Kiryat Ata (20-5) 64-61 on Tuesday. However just three-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 17-8. But Hasharon won third quarter 20-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Hasharon was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Tomer Ginat (202-94) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 7 rebounds. Orel Lev (195-93) contributed with 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American guard Jeremy Allen (193-88, college: FIU, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) answered with 26 points and 5 steals and guard Dolev Drapic (191-92) added 10 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Hasharon. Hasharon's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Ironi Kiryat Ata have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 20-5 record. Hasharon at the other side keeps the ninth position with 15 games lost. Ironi Kiryat Ata will face Ironi Ramat Gan (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Hasharon will play against Hasharon and hope to win that game.
