Vivo/Franca cruised past Palmeiras for the second straight victory. The game was mostly controlled by Vivo/Franca. Palmeiras was better in fourth quarter 24-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Argentinian Marcos Mata (201-86) scored 22 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and international Leonardo Meindl (201-93) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Italian-Argentinian point guard Maximiliano Stanic (178-78, agency: Players Group) responded with 13 points and guard Arlindo Neto (187-86) scored 10 points and 5 assists. Four Palmeiras players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
