Regular Season Round 28: Caceres - Opentach Pla 74-62

LEB Silver top team - Caceres Basket (22-5) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat thirteenth ranked Opentach Pla (7-18) 74-62. The game was mostly controlled by Caceres Basket. Opentach Pla managed to win fourth quarter 19-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Caceres Basket dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Opentach Pla's 24. Worth to mention a quality performance of Senegalese center Mansour Kasse (208-92, agency: Coast to Coast) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and forward Fernando Fernandez (198-89, college: Hannibal-LG, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who added 10 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Four Caceres Basket players scored in double figures. At the losing side power forward Alberto Ausina (203-81) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds and American forward Ridge McKeither (198-88, college: Angelo St.) scored 9 points and 8 rebounds. Caceres Basket have an impressive nine-game winning streak. Caceres Basket maintains first position with 22-5 record. Newly promoted Opentach Pla keeps the thirteenth place with 18 games lost. Caceres Basket is looking forward to face CB Tarragona 2017 (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Opentach Pla will play against the league's second-placed Castello and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
