Very expected game when 16th ranked Piacentina (7-23) lost on the road to sixth ranked Treviglio (19-11) 81-68 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Treviglio. Piacentina was better in second period 19-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for Tommaso Carnovali (197-93) who led his team to a victory with 22 points and 4 assists. Point guard Gherardo Sabatini (182-94) contributed with 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Treviglio players scored in double figures. Power forward Francesco Infante (200-92) replied with 22 points and 5 rebounds and Lithuanian swingman Paulius Sorokas (200-92) added 16 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Piacentina. Treviglio moved-up to third place, which they share with Recanati. Piacentina lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 23 lost games.
