Panama outgunned Brazil to seal their Second Stage appearance. Trevor Gaskins delivered 23 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists to pace the winners. Brazil enjoyed a 26:22 lead ten minutes into the game. But Panama turned things around in the next periods. They tied things up at 39 heading into the second half. Panama went on a strong 50:33 second half rally to ice the win. Michael Hicks delivered 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Vitor Benite responded with 21 points for Brazil.
