Regular Season Round 1: B.Muenchen - EWE Baskets 82-56

Date: October 2, 2015
Bayern Muenchen used a home court advantage and outplayed the opponent from Oldenburg 82-56. The game without a history. Bayern Muenchen led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 17-of-22 charity shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Bayern Muenchen players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Guinea-Bissau guard K.C. Rivers (196-87, college: Clemson) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 5 assists. American-Bosnian point guard Alex Renfroe (190-86, college: Belmont, agency: Beo Basket) contributed with 15 points and 8 assists for the winners. Serbian power forward Nemanja Aleksandrov (210-87) answered with 13 points and 9 rebounds and American swingman Rickey Paulding (196-82, college: Missouri) added 12 points in the effort for EWE Baskets. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bayern Muenchen's next round opponent will be Phoenix Hagen on the road which should be theoretically another easy game. EWE Baskets will play against Deutsche Bank Skyliners and hope to win that game.
