Regular Season Round 2: Sudety - Olesnica 71-61

Sudety used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Olesnica 71-61 on Saturday night. Sudety dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Olesnica's 30. Sudety forced 20 Olesnica turnovers. The best player for the winners was guard Lukasz Niesobski (185-85) who scored 22 points and 5 rebounds. Swingman Aleksander Raczek (192-92) chipped in 18 points and 5 assists. Swingman Grzegorz Kaczmarek (193-83) produced 17 points and 7 rebounds and center Wojciech Suprun (203-82) added 8 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Sudety will face Polonia Leszno (#3) at home in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Olesnica will play against Nowa Sol (#2) and hope to win that game.
