Very predictable result in Warszawa where Ksiezak Lowicz (2-0) beat Polonia W-wa (0-2) 65-51 on Saturday. They outrebounded Polonia W-wa 43-29 including 32 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was Michal Swiderski (194-87) who scored 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Mariusz Wojcik (200-79) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocks. Forward Daniel Nieporedzki (192-94) produced 13 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Kamil Dolinski (175-96) added 7 points respectively for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Ksiezak Lowicz will face Ostrow Mazow. (#7) in Ostrow Mazowiecki in the next round where they are favorite. Polonia W-wa will play on the road against Gimbasket PRZM in Przemysl and hope to win that game.
