Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked Iwate Big Bulls (2-2) outplayed at home bottom-ranked Saitama Broncos (0-4) 78-55 on Sunday. The game without a history. Iwate Big Bulls led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Iwate Big Bulls outrebounded Saitama Broncos 45-32 including 32 on the defensive glass. Nigerian forward Abdullahi Kuso (206-84, college: Tallahassee CC) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds. Cameroonian forward James Siakam (201-92, college: Vanderbilt) contributed with 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Evan Harris (206-86, college: Harvard, agency: I.D.S. Law) answered with 12 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import power forward Paul Butorac (208-83, college: E.Washington) added 9 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Saitama Broncos. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
