No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Toyama Grouses (3-3) crushed on the road 9th ranked Aomori Watts (1-3) 92-69 on Sunday. Toyama Grouses looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American forward Sam Willard (205-88, college: Pacific) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Joho Masashi (183-82) contributed with 22 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Toyama Grouses players scored in double figures. American guard Nile Murry (193-83, college: TCU) replied with 16 points and 7 rebounds and his fellow American import power forward Paul Williams (208-83, college: St.Bonaventure, agency: I.D.S. Law) added 10 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Aomori Watts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
