It was a great evening for the former international center Jesus Fernandez (204-75) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists. American guard John Schoof (196, college: American, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) helped adding 24 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. CB Granada will play against Zornotza (#14) in Amorebieta-Echano in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Blancos de Rueda will play on the road against Moron (#4) in MorĂ³n de la Frontera and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
