Regular Season Round 2: Slask Wroclaw - Stelmet ZG 67-76

No shocking result in a game when Stelmet (2-0) beat Slask (1-2) in Wroclaw 76-67 on Monday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Slask won third quarter 19-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Stelmet won last quarter 20-13. They made 19-of-20 free shots (95.0 percent) during the game. The former international point guard Lukasz Koszarek (187-84) orchestrated the victory by scoring 6 points and 10 assists. Serbian power forward Dejan Borovnjak (207-86, agency: Beo Basket) contributed with 15 points for the winners. American power forward Jarvis Williams (203-93, college: Murray St.) replied with 14 points and the former international Kamil Chanas (190-85) added 10 points in the effort for Slask. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Stelmet will face Wilki Morskie in Szczecin in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Slask will play on the road against Trefl in Sopot and hope to win that game.
