Regular Season Round 3: Scrivia - Broni 43-70

Not a big story in a game when Scrivia (0-3) was outplayed at home by Broni (3-0) 70-43 on Saturday. The game without a history. Broni led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Scrivia's 18. Broni forced 20 Scrivia turnovers. The best player for the winners was Estonian power forward Maaja Bratka (190-92, agency: LBM Management) who scored 24 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Virginia Galbiati (173-92, agency: SPORTlab Agency) chipped in 21 points and 4 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Silvia Gabba (170-82) who recorded 12 points and 5 steals and power forward Annalisa Vitari (185-96) added 5 points and 6 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Broni will face Costa Masnaga (#6) at home in the next round. Scrivia will play against Vicenza (#7) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
