There was a small surprise when Milano (2-1) edged at home Vicenza (2-1) 58-55 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 19-12 charge, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was British-Portuguese center Lavinia Da Silva (186-88) who scored 9 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Giulia Maffenini (175-92, agency: Two Points) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Jasmine Keys (190-97) who recorded a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds and guard Valentina Stoppa (172-85) added 18 points respectively. Milano will face Pordenone (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Vicenza will play against Scrivia (#14) and hope to win that game.
