Regular Season Round 4: AZS UMCS - Start Lublin II 71-64

There was a small surprise when seventh ranked AZS UMCS (2-2) defeated at home 5th ranked Start Lublin II (2-2) 71-64 on Saturday. AZS UMCS dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Start Lublin II's 24. They outrebounded Start Lublin II 57-29 including a 19-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Rafal Krol (200-87) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 16 rebounds and point guard Przemyslaw Tradecki (180-89) who added 5 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. At the losing side Adam Mysliwiec (200-90) responded with 17 points and 8 rebounds and forward Bartosz Ciechocinski (203-91) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. AZS UMCS moved-up to fourth place in Group B, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Start Lublin II. AZS UMCS will face KK Warszawa (#8) on the road in the next round. Start Lublin II will play against Shmoolky W-wa (#10) and hope to win that game.
