The game in Joniskis was also quite interesting. Sixth ranked Zalgiris II (5-3) played at the court of 8th ranked Delikatesas (3-5). Zalgiris II did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 77-60 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Zalgiris II. Delikatesas managed to win fourth quarter 25-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The winners were led by power forward Regimantas Miniotas (206-96) who scored that evening 21 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Laurynas Birutis (210-97) supported him with 9 points and 7 rebounds. Zalgiris II's coach Tomas Masiulis used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 16 points by forward Darius Griskenas (194-84) did not help to save the game for Delikatesas. point guard Augustas Pampikas (189-96) added 12 points for the hosts. Zalgiris II have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Vytis and Telsiai. Loser Delikatesas keeps the eighth position with five games lost. They share it with Silute and Nafta-Uni.. Zalgiris II will meet Silute (#9) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Delikatesas will play against Vytis in Sakiai and hope to secure a win.
