Regular Season Round 4: Moycullen - Templeogue 64-84

Premier League top team - Templeogue (4-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed sixth ranked Moycullen (1-3) in Galway 84-64. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Templeogue made 7 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of international forward Michael Bonaparte (196-82, college: Coll.of the Ozarks) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks. The former international forward Conor Grace (210-82, college: Davidson) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Templeogue players scored in double figures. American power forward Andy Burns (204-88, college: Virginia) replied with 11 points and 5 rebounds and guard James Loughnane (175-89) added 14 points and 4 steals in the effort for Moycullen. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Templeogue have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record. Newly promoted Moycullen dropped to the seventh place with three games lost. They share the position with Belfast Star and Swords Thunder. Templeogue will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Moycullen will play on the road against the league's second-placed UCC Demons (#2) in Cork and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
