Regular Season Round 5: Jamtland - Umea 86-59

KFUM Jamtland has registered their first victory this season after four consecutive loses. They used home court advantage to defeat Umea (1-4) 86-59. The game was mostly controlled by KFUM Jamtland. Umea was better in fourth quarter 24-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Umea to just 7 points in third quarter. KFUM Jamtland dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Umea's 18. KFUM Jamtland forced 24 Umea turnovers and outrebounded them 39-28 including 27 on the defensive glass. KFUM Jamtland maintains ninth place with 1-4 record, which they share with Umea and Eco Orebro. It was Umea's fourth loss in a row. KFUM Jamtland will play against league's leader Sodertalje Kings on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Umea will play against Malbas (#8) to get more than just one victory in their record.
