Regular Season Round 5: Eco Orebro - LF Basket 74-97

LF Basket has registered their first victory this season after three consecutive loses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in Orebro, where they outplayed Eco Orebro (1-4) 97-74 on Tuesday. The game without a history. LF Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 60.6 percent from the field. LF Basket looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The former international swingman Christopher Ryan (196-90) stepped up and scored 20 points and 5 assists (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners and American guard Alex Wesby (198-80, college: Temple, agency: R.H.Consultancy) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists. LF Basket's coach Peter Oqvist felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard Ahmad Starks (175-92, college: Illinois) responded with 19 points and the other American import forward Hector Harold (201-91, college: Vermont) scored 9 points and 7 rebounds. Five LF Basket and four Eco Orebro players scored in double figures. LF Basket maintains seventh place with 1-3 record, which they share with Malbas. It was Eco Orebro's third loss in a row. They keep the ninth position with four games lost. They share it with Jamtland and Umea. LF Basket is looking forward to face higher ranked Uppsala Basket (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Eco Orebro will play against Norrkoping Dolphins (#4) in Norrkoping and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
