Regular Season Round 3: Hapoel B/S - Galil Gilboa 70-72

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Hapoel B/S (2-1) at the home court. Hosts were edged by Galil Gilboa (3-0) 72-70. It was a great evening for American forward Demetrius Treadwell (201-91, college: Akron) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 17 rebounds. His fellow American import Jason Siggers (194-85, college: Albany) helped adding 26 points. Galil Gilboa's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. The best for the losing side was naturalized Polish point guard Tamir Ariely (190-90) with 13 points and 8 assists and American power forward Keith Clanton (205-90, college: Cent.Florida) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds. Four Hapoel B/S players scored in double figures. Galil Gilboa will play against Ironi Ramat Gan (#7) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Hapoel B/S will play against Hap.R/G Givat. in Givataim and hopes to get back on the winning track.
