Date: October 31, 2015
The biggest surprise of round 6 was guest Lattes Montpellier's (5-1) road victory over Bourges (#5) 60-55 on Saturday evening. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Bourges won third quarter 21-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was international forward Valerianne Ayayi (185-94, agency: Comsport) who scored 20 points and 6 rebounds. The former international Sarah Michel (180-89, agency: Comsport) chipped in 4 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was international swingman Celine Dumerc (169-82, agency: Comsport) who recorded 25 points and 4 steals and American-Serbian forward Danielle Page (188-86, college: Nebraska) added 11 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Lattes Montpellier have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Landes. Defending champion Bourges keeps the fifth position with two games lost. Lattes Montpellier is looking forward to face Angers (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Bourges will play against Charleville-Mez.
