The game in Givataim was also quite interesting. Sixth ranked Hapoel B/S (3-1) played at the court of 8th ranked Hap.R/G Givat. (1-3). Hapoel B/S managed to secure a 5-point victory 87-82 on Tuesday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Hap.R/G Givat.. Hapoel B/S dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Hap.R/G Givat.'s 30. Hapoel B/S forced 20 Hap.R/G Givat. turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Keith Clanton (205-90, college: Cent.Florida) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and swingman Elad Hofman (192-85) who added 20 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American guard Roburt Sallie (196-86, college: Memphis, agency: Blacktop Management) responded with 26 points, 5 assists and 5 steals (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and guard Tomer Pisecki (193-83) scored 14 points and 4 assists. Hapoel B/S moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Ironi K-A. Hap.R/G Givat. at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. Hapoel B/S will face Hapoel Migd.H. (#13) in Tarshicha in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Hap.R/G Givat. will play on the road against Ironi Ramat Gan (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
