Regular Season Round 3: Nantes - Roanne 82-76
Date: November 6, 2015
Rather predictable result when Nantes (2-1) won against at home Chorale de Roanne (0-3) 82-76 on Friday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Chorale de Roanne won third quarter 21-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for American Storm Warren (201-88, college: LSU, agency: I.D.S. Law) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Swingman Valentin Bigote (196-92, agency: Comsport) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Four Nantes players scored in double figures. Nantes' coach Franck Collineau used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cape Verdean-Portuguese Ivan Almeida (198-89, college: Stonehill) answered with 18 points and 8 rebounds and American forward Steffphon Pettigrew (196-89, college: W.Kentucky) added 20 points in the effort for Chorale de Roanne. Nantes will face Saint-Quentin (#18) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Chorale de Roanne will play against SO Maritime Boulogne and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
