There was no surprise when 7th ranked Fukuoka Rizing (5-6) was defeated on the road by first ranked Okinawa GK (8-2) 84-67 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 28-6 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Okinawa GK dominated on the defensive end, holding Fukuoka Rizing to just 6 points in fourth quarter. The game was dominated by American players. Anthony McHenry (202-83, college: Georgia Tech) fired a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners.
