Regular Season Round 11: Delikatesas - Telsiai 69-56

There was a small surprise when ninth ranked Delikatesas (5-6) won against 7th ranked Telsiai (6-5) in Joniskis 69-56. Telsiai was ahead by 2 points at the halftime before a 48-33 second half run of Delikatesas. It was a great evening for forward Darius Griskenas (194-84) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds. Power forward Rokas Cepanonis (207-89) helped adding 12 points and 10 rebounds. Four Delikatesas players scored in double figures. point guard Rokas Danielius (183-92) responded with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Audrius Maneikis (203-84, college: Motlow St. CC) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Delikatesas moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Nafta-Uni. and Perlas-MRU. Newly promoted Telsiai dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. They share it with Petrochema. Delikatesas will play against Perlas-MRU (#8) in Vilnius in the next round. Telsiai will play at home against Zalgiris II and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
