NKL round 11 caused change at the leadership position. Second defeat of league's leader Suduva-Mantinga (9-2) against second ranked Mazeikiai (9-2) 85-74 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Suduva-Mantinga. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 39-27 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Mazeikiai dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Suduva-Mantinga's 20. Guard Sarunas Vingelis (192-89) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points.
