Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Denso Iris (9-2) rolled over 7th ranked Toyota B SR (4-7) in Kariya 85-51 on Saturday. The game without a history. Denso Iris led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Toyota B SR's 32 and made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. The former international power forward Maki Takada (183-89) orchestrated the victory by scoring 23 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). International center Sakura Akaho (182-96) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Forward Mika Yamanaka (175-88) answered with 19 points and power forward Sari Osabe (174-87) added 12 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Toyota B SR. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Denso Iris have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. Toyota B SR lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with seven games lost. Denso Iris will face again Toyota B SR (#8) in Aichi in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game.
