No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Slavia Kosice (9-4) crushed at home 7th ranked Iskra Svit (3-10) 89-65. They outrebounded Iskra Svit 37-25 including 29 on the defensive glass. Slavia Kosice players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Iskra Svit's players. American power forward Reggie Keely (202-91, college: Ohio, agency: Mansfield and Associates) had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international forward Stanislav Baldovsky (192-89) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Slavia Kosice moved-up to third place. Iskra Svit lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with ten games lost. Slavia Kosice will play against Nitra (#8) in Nitra in the next round where they are favorite. Iskra Svit will have a break next round.
