Bottom-ranked Nova Ves (0-13) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their 13th consecutive match to fourth ranked Inter Bratislava (9-3) 116-71 on Saturday evening. Inter Bratislava dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Nova Ves' 24 and made 22-of-29 free shots (75.9 percent) during the game. Inter Bratislava forced 28 Nova Ves turnovers and outrebounded them 44-29 including a 20-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Inter Bratislava's coach Lubomir Urban felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was center Michal Dolnik (203-95) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and guard Daniel Lenart (188-88) added 16 points respectively. Five Inter Bratislava and four Nova Ves players scored in double figures. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Inter Bratislava. They maintain fourth place with 9-3 record. Nova Ves lost their thirteenth game in a row. They still close the standings with 13 games lost. Inter Bratislava will meet league's second-placed Prievidza on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Nova Ves will play against Iskra Svit (#7) and hope to get finally their first victory.
