The most interesting game of round 18 in the BJ League was only two-point a home defeat of 4th ranked Okinawa GK (9-4) to third ranked Kyoto Hannar. (10-3) 87-85. It was a key game for the second position in the league. The guests trailed by 5 points at the halftime before their 29-18 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great shooting night for Kyoto Hannar. especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.1 percentage. The best for the losing side was American Anthony McHenry (202-83, college: Georgia Tech) with 15 points and 4 assists and swingman Shuhei Kitagawa (185-85) scored 20 points. Kyoto Hannar. have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Okinawa GK at the other side dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. Kyoto Hannar. are looking forward to face Fukuoka Rizing (#8) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Okinawa GK will play against Kanazawa Samuraiz in Ishikawa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
