The game between third ranked Fuerza Regia (8-2) and 10th ranked Ciudad (3-9) in Monterrey on Sunday ended with biggest points difference. Fuerza Regia outscored guests from Ciudad Juarez 129-105. Fuerza Regia made 20-of-23 free shots (87.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists. The winners were led by Puerto Rican guard Jezreel De Jesus (185-91) who scored that evening 30 points and 4 assists and American forward Jordan Glynn (200-89, college: SF Austin) supported him with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Fuerza Regia's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 26 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists by American guard John Taylor (185-89, college: Fresno Pacific) did not help to save the game for Ciudad. His fellow American import center Dee Proby (208-88, college: Oklahoma City) added 18 points and 15 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Fuerza Regia have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Pioneros. Newly promoted Ciudad keeps the tenth position with nine games lost. Fuerza Regia will meet league's leader Soles in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ciudad will play against Abejas (#4) and hope to secure a win.
