Bottom-ranked Lietkabelis-2 managed to get a second victory, breaking the series of twelve consecutive losses. This time newly promoted Lietkabelis-2 won against eighth-ranked Nafta-Uni. in Panevezys 71-64. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Nafta-Uni.. Nafta-Uni. was ahead by 3 points after three quarters before a 21-11 charge of Lietkabelis-2, which allowed them to win the game. Nafta-Uni. was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Newly promoted Lietkabelis-2 maintains fourteenth place with 2-13 record. Nafta-Uni. at the other side dropped to the ninth position with eight games lost. They share it with Delikatesas. Lietkabelis-2 will play against league's second-placed Mazeikiai on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Nafta-Uni. will play against Vytis (#4) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
